Overview
RX-78NT-1Bandai's Master Grade RX-78 NT-1 Gundam "Alex" brings the star of Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket to life with the polish typical of the MG line. Nearly every part of the kit poses after completion, including the cool forearm-mounted gatling guns that pop up for action, and the kit is packed with inner frame detail beneath its molded-color exterior.
What sets this release apart is its signature twist: a full set of removable Chobham battle armor that can be taken on or off to display the suit in its armored or stripped-down configuration. The kit also includes the usual shield, beam rifle and beam saber, and uses snap-assembly construction with poly-caps for smooth, durable joint articulation.

A Newtype Prototype in Disguise
The RX-78 NT-1, nicknamed Alex, was a Federation prototype built to test Newtype-compatible systems during the One Year War, as seen in Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket.
